About the Course

The Master of Public Health Extension is designed to provide more options for graduate public health studies. It has the same structure of the Master of Public Health, with the additional requirement of a second specialisation of advanced study - an additional 24 credit points of either coursework or research studies. This allows you to tailor your learning to your career aspirations. This is a flexible degree designed to give you a broad introduction to public health while equipping you with the skills and knowledge to define, critically assess and resolve public health issues within a community. If you choose not to complete the Master of Public Health Extension you have the option to exit early with a Master of Public Health (international or domestic students) or an appropriate Graduate Certificate (domestic students only). What you will study This flexible and interest driven program allows you to develop, analyse and implement policy, plan and evaluate health services and programs whilst working towards your career goals. The program is structured in a manner that responds to the constantly changing health and social issues both at the local and international level.
