Service learning and community engagement are key features of this degree. In all four years of the course you will be given service learning opportunities and work with educational, health and sporting organisations. Totalling 140 hours, this will supplement your professional experience placement in schools. Work-based placements begin in the first year of the course and the amount of responsibility and duration of the placements progressively increases until the final placement, when you will be competent to teach under minimal supervision.
