You'll learn how to bridge clinical medicine and the technology that supports it and help people affected by health conditions. Develop the essential skills you'll need for a professional career in biomedical engineering - we'll help you each step of the way. The schools have extensive links with industry, especially through research projects and consulting. The degree also has an Industry Advisory Committee (IAC) which is an important link to industry. This provides feedback on the course and responds to the changing needs of industry. The IAC and industry partners also contribute to this course through participation in seminars, marketing events, industry awards and scholarships. Within RMIT, you will have access to world leading researchers and 3D printing facilities such as the Advanced Manufacturing Precinct, the MicroNano Researcch facility and the 3DBioFab placing you at the interface of cutting-edge technologies. This degree is provisionally accredited by Engineers Australia. They ensure courses prepare students to practice as professional engineers.
