About the Course

Speech pathologists work with many different people with lots of different communication challenges, for example giving feeding advice to a mother whose baby has a cleft palate, helping a child with a stutter to speak more fluently or assisting an adult who has had a stroke or a brain injury, to regain their communication skills.This course gives you the skills you need to work in this field, developing your understanding of typical and acquired communication development, swallowing disorders and clinical practice in speech pathology.
