About the Course
The Graduate Diploma in Health Leadership and Management provides you with the knowledge and skills required for senior managerial roles in health service delivery. It aims to help promote current and future leaders who are skilled in strategic planning, quality and safety improvement and monitoring, and policy making in a wide variety of contexts. These include the hospital and community health care services, aged care services, ministries and departments of health, government and non-government and voluntary organisations, primary care and general practice, in both public and private sectors.You will receive a strong grounding in the principles underpinning health systems and services, strategic planning, change management, financial management and health economics, evidence-informed decision and policy making, clinical governance and risk management, and innovation and improvement strategies.
