About the Course

One of only a handful of programs of its kind in the world, the Graduate Diploma in Peace and Conflict Studies provides a distinctive qualification in a growing field and can be tailored to your interests. In addition to a core program of peace and conflict studies units, you can pursue electives from a range of disciplines, including development studies, human rights, political economy, international relations and security studies. From justice and reconciliation after mass violence to the role of religion in war and peace, a broad range of subjects is on offer in this course. Taught by experts in the field, this course will prepare you for both the intellectual and practical challenges of a career in peace building or related fields. Study with leading scholars and expert commentators and practitioners in peace journalism, transitional justice, conflict resolution, nonviolence, community mediation, human rights, the United Nations, faith- based peacebuilding and the psychology of peace.
