About the Course

The Graduate Diploma of Professional Archaeology is a one-year, 120-credit point course that develops skills needed for working in commercial archaeology and heritage management. It offers hands-on training in archaeological survey and excavation techniques, heritage legislation, Aboriginal and historical archaeology and business skills. Many subjects are taught in block mode and off campus. The course may serve as a pathway into the Masters degree.
