About the Course
This double degree combines the specialist finance knowledge necessary for success in the finance industry with an interdisciplinary overview of issues related to international business, and how these issues influence the global economy. Our Master of Financial Analysis is an ideal route to internationally recognised professional careers in finance. You'll develop or extend your professional skills in finance and gain a broad understanding of economics, accounting, management and quantitative methods. The program is based on a defined body of knowledge of proven relevance to the finance industry. Our finance subjects are ranked in the top 7 per cent in the world by the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2015. This expertise informs our course content and our teaching. We've developed the Master of Financial Analysis course in collaboration with business and professional associations, particularly CFA Institute. This means you'll graduate with the professional skills needed to gain entry into a range of challenging and rewarding careers in the financial sector. The Master of International Business (MIB) provides an education in the essential techniques of international business management, keeping a balance between academic rigour and exposure to a wide range of practical experiences in the various aspects of international management. As a graduate you'll be ready for a high-level career in investment, banking and finance roles both locally and overseas. This could include export/import companies, joint ventures, public sector areas involved in international trade and conglomerates with subsidiaries reaching around the globe. Seminars and lectures are held at our Melbourne Campus. While most classes are held during the day, some are held outside work hours and in block mode.
