About the Course

This course is only available to students currently enrolled in the Master of Science in Medicine (General Practice and Primary Health Care) who meet the requirements for admission (see below). The Master of Science in Medicine (Advanced) (General Practice and Primary Health Care) is designed for registered nurses. Following completion of the requirements for the Master's students complete a supervised research project. The course provides a wide range of relevant study areas, some specific to general practice and primary health care and others aimed at extending knowledge and skills, such as dermatology, diabetes and obesity, clinical teaching, mental health, public health and ethics.
