Recently, Times Higher Education has released its 2022 World University Rankings by Subject for all the fields except Arts&humanities. Altogether there are 5 universities in world Top 100. The University of Queensland is ranked #1 in Australia, #39 in the world. And Monash University has jumped ahead 14 places to #53 in the world, #3 in Australia.

[Computer Science]

Altogether there are 6 universities in world Top 100. The University of Melbourne is ranked #1 in Australia, #51 worldwide. The University of Technology Sydney secures a position as #4 in Australia.

[Engineering]

Altogether there are 8 universities in world Top 100. The University of New South Wales is once again #1 in Australia, with world ranking #46. It is followed by Monash University, #2 in Australia, #55 worldwide. The University of Wollongong also performs well to be ranked #6 in Australia.

[Education]

Altogether there are 8 universities in world Top 100. The University of Melbourne is once again #1 in Australia, with world ranking #19. Monash University has leaped to #20 worldwide, 10 places from last year. Deakin University demonstrates its excellence in education by ranking #3 in Australia.

[Law]

Altogether there are 9 universities in world Top 100. Top 1 is The University of Melbourne, ranked #5 in the world, higher than Harvard University. It is followed by The University of New South Wales as #24 worldwide. Australian National University has greatly improved 18 places to #28 in the worlds, and The University of Sydney has raised 7 places to #30 in the world.

Altogether there are 7 universities in world Top 100. The University of Melbourne is ranked as high as #14 in world. Both The University of Sydney and Monash University are among the world Top 50, as #33 and #34 respectively.

[Life Sciences]

Altogether there are 7 universities in world Top 100. The University of Melbourne and The University of Queensland are among the world Top 40, as #35 and #40 respectively.

[Psychology]

Altogether there are 6 universities in world Top 100, and 4 in world Top 50! The best two universities in Australia are The University of Melbourne and The University of New South Wales, with world ranking #24 and #29 respectively.

[Social Sciences]

Altogether there are 5 universities in world Top 100. Both The University of Melbourne and Australian National University are among the world’s Top 40, with 13 places’ improvement for the former.

[Physical Sciences]

Altogether there are 5 universities in world Top 100. Australian National University takes the lead to be #1 in Australia, #43 worldwide.
