Following is a snapshot of Australian universities’ excellent performance.
This year, a total of 7 Australian institutions entered the world’s top 100
5 more Universities ranked among the top 50 in the world!
The Australian National University ranked #1 in Australia and #30 in the world
The University of Melbourne ranking 2nd in Australia and #33 in the world
The University of Sydney is ranked 3rd in Australia and #41 in the world
UNSW ranked 4th and #45 in the world
The University of Queensland is ranked 5th and #50 in the world
Monash University ranked 6th and #57 in the world
The University of Western Australia ranks 7th in Australia and #90 in the world ranking!
In addition to the GO8 in Australia, other Universities also performed well in the rankings!
The University of Technology Sydney continues to be No. 9 in Australia and #137 in the world
The University of Wollongong, RMIT University, Newcastle University, Macquarie University
All in the world’s top 200 ranks!
RMIT University breaks through again in this ranking, ranking 11th in Australia and #190 in the world
This is the first time RMIT has entered the world’s ranking top 200!

Deakin University has also improved significantly, ranking 16th in Australia and #266 in the world
The international ranking has improved by 17 places compared to last year!
The University of Tasmania is ranked #293 in the world
